UCC Fall Recreation Program!
The Director of Coaching for UCC, along with other high-level assistants will help instruct participants. Practice concepts generally emphasize individual skills more than team development. While team games are played, the desired result will be for player’s improvement of individual skills, long-term enjoyment, and knowledge of the game to increase the player’s confidence.
Training starts August 7th. If you cannot attend the normal Wednesday training session, you can attend the make-up training session on Monday’s starting August 12th.
Parents will need to communicate that change to the coaches at the Wednesday training session before attending the make-up or call Thomas Chapman, UCC Executive Director.

Things to Bring: Please bring water, shin guards and shoes. Shoes can be soccer cleats, turf shoes or tennis shoes.
Uniforms: Reversible jerseys will be handed out at the first practice. Each player must have a reversible jersey. Jersey should be worn to practice and games.
Game Day: Games are played on Saturday mornings at Special Olympics beginning at 9:00AM. Teams will play Doubleheader with small-sided games via 3v3 or 4v4. Games will consist of two halves. Each half will be 10 minutes with a two minute intermission. Players will play one 22 minute game, rest for 30 minutes and then play another 22 minute game. We will play six weeks instead of eight but you will receive 12 games instead of 8.
We will not have games on August 10th or Labor Day Weekend on August 31st.

Weather Cancelations: Inclement weather cancelations will be posted on all UCC social media which includes Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. UCC will also send out a mass email to all age groups regarding potential changes.
